Tara Pezzuto, DNP, CAQ in Headache Medicine
Nemours is a primary pediatric referral center in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. A need to create a headache center was identified in 2009. As a clinically practicing Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialty in child neurology and certificate of added qualification in headache medicine, I worked diligently with our administration, faculty and community to create our pediatric headache program. I have been the Director of the program since 2009 and a member of the Miles for Migraine Team since 2016. I have spoken nationally and internationally on the topic of pediatric headache management and I am proud to be part of the team making the lives of children with headache better.
