Looking for Connection
Even with a strong support system, migraine and headache disorders can be alienating for many. It can sometimes feel like no one in the world understands what you are going through, but it doesn’t have to. By connecting with fellow migraine and headache disorder patients in a safe and welcoming environment, you can put stigma and judgement worries aside, let your guard down, and open the door to being supported by those who understand.
Creating Community
While the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we connect with others, it’s more important than ever to band together, create community, and support one another. We believe that we can continue to make meaningful connections and foster a sense of belonging by connecting with the migraine and headache disorder community virtually. The shared experience of migraine and headache disorders transcends geographical boundaries, so come join one of our virtual events and make a new friend, or even a pen pal!
Why Social Events?
Miles for Migraine strongly believes that self-care is an essential part of every treatment plan, and socializing, connecting with others, and feeling part of a community is a critical foundation for self-care. Our Social Events connect migraine and headache disorder patients with one another in an environment that is supportive, understanding, and most of all fun!
