Support Miles for Migraine

6-Week Parent Education and Support Series

Starting Thursday, January 13, 2022, The Miles for Migraine Youth Program will be hosting a 6-week series for parents of children with chronic migraine, aged 12 to 22. The goal is to provide support and community for parents through this challenging time. The program will provide the parents with a collaborative environment to share personal stories, learn from other parents and explore new strategies to support their children. You are invited to join psychologist Michelle Clementi, Ph.D. and social worker Kelli Sloan, MSW, who will be facilitating the groups.

Michelle Clementi

Michelle Clementi, PhD

Michelle Clementi, Ph.D., is a pediatric psychologist in the Pediatric Headache Program at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She specializes in working with children and teens with chronic pain conditions and has a particular interest in connecting sleep, pain, and mood/emotions. Dr. Clementi uses psychological interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy to help children and teens manage their physical and mental health and improve their quality of life. In her free time, Dr. Clementi enjoys hiking and exploring beautiful Colorado.

Kelli Sloan

Kelli Sloan, MSW

Kelli Sloan, MSW, LSW, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and is currently a clinical social worker at DLA Psychology Center in Chicago, Illinois. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, medical conditions, and assisting caregivers.

Kelli is passionate about helping people through life challenges. She enjoys assisting individuals in understanding their chronic pain and exploring coping strategies while using a creative approach to treatment. Kelli strives to help individuals reach their goals and improve life satisfaction. Kelli enjoys watching sports, hiking, and reading in her free time.
