Lauren Doyle Strauss, DO, FAHS
My work as a pediatric neurologist centers on improving the lives of children.
Dr. Strauss is a pediatric neurologist and headache specialist trained at Harvard-affiliated Boston Children's Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She is an associate professor at Wake Forest School of Medicine and the program director for the child neurology residency program.
Dr. Strauss' career focuses on improving the lives of children and young adults with headache disorders through educating patients, parents, and other healthcare professionals. Dr. Strauss has received several recognitions for her leadership in patient care. She is a past recipient of a "Member Spotlight" from the American Headache Society, the Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Emerging Leader Award, and the recognition of "Best Doctor in America" since 2017. Dr. Strauss and the Comprehensive Headache Program at the Brenner Children's Hospital of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist have been partnering with Miles for Migraine since 2019, hosting an annual race in Winston Salem, NC, and Virtual Education Days.
