Our annual Boston event for migraine is a fundraising event organized by our nonprofit to raise awareness and funds for those affected by migraine and headache disease. We have a professionally timed Boston 5K run and an untimed walk. Funds raised go towards supporting local migraine research, education for headache fellows (doctors getting specialty training in the field of headache medicine) as well as Miles for Migraine programming here in Boston.
This event has passed for 2023. We'll see you in 2024!

Frequently Asked Questions
The main difference between a virtual event and an in-person event in Boston is that a virtual event can be completed from anywhere, while an in-person race requires participants to physically be at the event location on the event date. In a virtual event, participants can complete any form of intentional movement, at their own pace and on their own schedule, while an in-person race follows a set course and schedule. Virtual Participants have their event swag and finisher medal mailed to them for an added fee.
Registration for the in-person event is completely free and open to all. You can register for the Boston event on this registration page. Simply select whether you'd like to participate in-person or virtually, the event you want to participate in (2 Mile Walk, 5K, or Relax), fill out the registration form, and submit your information.

Strollers are no problem at our Boston event. We just ask that whether you are running or walking, you start toward the back of your group to reduce chances of people tripping or trying to get around you. For out and back courses, please be aware of staying to the right side of the path to keep the path open for people coming from the opposite direction.
